Surfin’ the 60s – Form 3 and 4 Production

The audience was transported back in time to a celebration of a musical era when Form 3 and Form 4 presented their Spring production, “Surfin’the 60’s”.

Music, dance and history combined to get the audience tapping their feet.

The orchestra opened with their super rendition of “The James Bond Theme”. This was followed by a trip to the Sunday Palladium of 1963, which brought a variety performance showcasing the musicals of the time and a medley of Beatles songs.

The pupils gave a resounding “Welcome to the 60’s”, they told us that the place to be was, “Downtown”, we all joined in “The Locomotion” and they truly showed that the pupils of Wilmslow Prep really have, “The Rhythm of Life”, just a hint of the musical talents they shared.

Well done to everyone that took part!!
