Pupils and staff at Wilmslow Prep School have had a fantastic time commemorating the 75th anniversary of VE Day this week.
The children have been learning about the Second World War and the importance of this very special day during their online lessons. Many children and families celebrated with a tea party, dressing up in red, white and blue and joining in with their classes and teachers wherever possible.

The tea parties were a great success with everyone entering into the spirt of celebration and enjoying singing “We’ll meet again” along with Vera Lynn. We do hope that you enjoy all the lovely photos that have been taken of this special commemoration.
Many thanks to all the form teachers who planned meaningful and age appropriate work to learn all about this historic day, and to the VE Day Committee who coordinated the initiative and decorated School to share with the children of Key Workers.
