We have had such a fun and busy week at WPS.
Today, EYFS took part in Barnardo’s charity Big Toddle adventure, performing all our jungle songs in front of the Nursery children and staff.
The children have been excited all week, discussing their costumes and rehearsing their action songs in readiness for the big day.
A huge ‘thank you’ to all parents and carers for providing such amazing costumes, and for your generous donations.
The children were very enthusiastic about coming to School wearing their costumes and the look of happiness and excitement on their faces as they walked through the door was a delight to see.
All the children looked amazing and wore their costumes with pride while parading around the playground to an audience of staff and children from the Garden Nursery at Wilmslow Prep.
The children then took their positions on the outdoor playground stage and sang their songs brilliantly.
Afterwards, the children were invited to stroke the Garden Nursery’s pet guinea pigs named Ginnie and Minnie. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event; and for performing superbly, the children were rewarded with an ice cream in the EYFS outdoor area.
Well done children for taking part so enthusiastically. You were all fantastic!
