Form 1 and 2 have been inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’.
Linking with their Geography topic, ‘Our Local Area’, Form 1 drew pictures of local buildings and added these to their ‘Wilmslow’ Starry Night. They moved paint around on foil to create the flowing motion used by van Gogh.
Form 2 used thick flour paint to resemble the texture van Gogh achieved using oil paint. They experimented using tints and shades of blue before creating their own Starry Night painting.
