On Thursday, Prep 4 enjoyed a 5-mile walk along the River Bollin to Styal Mill.
Along the way, they used their observation sheets to help them name various trees and plants that they spotted.
They were also lucky to spot a heron, a stoat, dragonflies and a field mouse. At the end of our adventure, the children enjoyed their well-deserved ice cream.
Throughout the day, Prep 4, as usual, demonstrated wonderful behaviour and manners and it was lovely that this was noticed by a number of members of the public.
