Wilmslow Prep School was among many local schools who took part in Wilmslow’s very own Mini World Cup tournament last week.
The WFA Mini World Cup 2018 was held at Gorsey Bank Primary School and spread over five days, from Monday 11th June through to Friday 15th June.
Each school was drawn to represent a country, and we were delighted to be representing Argentina! We had our own mini Messi’s and Aguero’s on the pitch and the 3 WPS teams that competed in the tournament wore special Argentina shirts, which added to the fun spirit of the tournament.
All of the pupils that represented WPS showed excellent teamwork, fantastic spirit, and displayed excellent sportsmanship!
