The children at Wilmslow Prep School have been busy in the lead up to Christmas doing a whole range of festive activities.
The Wilmslow Prep Chamber Choir were invited to sing to the residents at the Canterbury Grange retirement complex as well as the Tatton Christmas markets. The children put on wonderful performances at both venues, singing modern and traditional hymns, and spreading Christmas cheer to all.
The EYFS children have been almost as busy as the Christmas elves in the kitchen; following a Sainsbury’s trip from the reception children who bought the ingredients for Christmas cakes. The children closely followed a recipe to make the mixture. They beautifully decorated the cakes before taking them home for their families.
As part of the Christmas countdown the children came to school in their Christmas jumpers spreading festive cheer throughout the corridors
