Outstanding Success at ISA Junior Athletics North Qualifiers!

Our pupils enjoyed an incredibly successful and memorable day at the ISA Junior Athletics North Qualifiers, showcasing exceptional determination, teamwork and sporting talent throughout the competition.

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our teams, with Prep 3 crowned Girls Team North Champions and Prep 4 proudly retaining their title as Girls Team North Champions for the second consecutive year – a fantastic accomplishment that reflects the hard work and dedication of all the girls involved.

There were also a number of superb individual performances across the day.   In the Prep 4 events:

  • Myla delivered a brilliant performance to claim 1st place and a North Qualifier position in the Vortex Howler
  • Emmy secured an excellent 2nd place finish and achieved a North Qualifier spot in the 60m sprint.

Our Prep 3 pupils also achieved fantastic results.

  • Romie raced to an impressive 1st place finish in the 60m sprint final, with Henry closely following in 2nd place after an exciting race.
  • Laianne also performed brilliantly, securing 2nd place in the Prep 3 Vortex Howler final.

The relay events brought even more success for the school.

  • Our talented Prep 4 girls relay team stormed to 1st place with an outstanding team performance
  • Plus our Prep 3 girls relay team achieved a fantastic 2nd place overall.

We were equally proud of our Prep 5 and 6 boys, who all earned well-deserved places in the Long Jump, Shot Putt and Vortex Howler events, demonstrating great commitment and resilience throughout the competition.

The day was filled with enthusiasm, encouragement and sportsmanship, and every pupil represented the school with pride. We are incredibly proud of all of our athletes for their hard work, determination and support for one another.

A special thank you must also go to our wonderful PE Lead, Mrs Broome, whose dedication, encouragement and support continue to inspire our pupils to achieve their very best.

Congratulations to everyone involved on such a fantastic achievement!
