Fees & Bursaries

The Governors view independent school bursary awards as important in helping to ensure the children from families who would otherwise not be able to afford the fees to access the education we offer. Our School does not have a large endowment and in funding our awards we have to be mindful that we must ensure a balance between fee-paying parents, many of whom make considerable personal sacrifices to fund their child’s education, and those benefiting from the awards.

Fees

Fees are due and payable at the start of each term. Alternatively arrangements can be made with the School Bursar for payment by monthly instalment over 10 months, September to June. For further details on current fees, and payment options, please contact the School Bursar.

Bursaries

Our bursary awards are available to all who meet our general entry requirements and are made solely on the basis of parental means or to relieve hardship where a pupil’s education and future prospects would otherwise be at risk, for example, in the case of redundancy.

The awards range from 10% to 100% remission of fees. We also attempt to supplement bursary awards to pay for extra-curricular activities, equipment and school trips, in particular hardship cases.

We also offer discounts where parents have more than one child at the School and a discount scheme where staff members choose to educate their child at our School.
