The Gingerbread Man

The children in Kindergarten and Reception have read and acted out the story of The Gingerbread Man. The children then baked, iced and ate their own Gingerbread Man – yummy!

Visited by a Dentist

The kindergarten and Reception children were visited by Dentist Emma who taught us about the importance of oral hygiene and to make sure we thoroughly brush our teeth at least twice a day.

Remembrance

During today’s Remembrance Assembly, Mrs Pierce explained the significance of Remembrance Day, and Mr Lavanga-Slater reminded the children why we hold the silence and spoke about the importance of remembering. Pop, bang and fizz

To celebrate Bonfire Night, the children in Kindergarten and Reception used ribbons so that they could pretend to be fireworks. The children enjoyed zooming and whizzing around the Welly Wednesday area and used great onomatopoeic key vocabulary such as “pop, bang and fizz”.

Harvest

Thank you to all our families who supported our Harvest before half term. We had a lovely Harvest assembly and our Prep 6 children helped to load the donations into the minibus. The food bank, Wilmslow Food Friend, were very grateful for our donations.

Kindergarten and Reception Den building

The Kindergarten and Reception children had a very fun-filled morning. The children built some amazing dens. They developed their fine and gross motor skills whilst working together as a team. Well done children, you showed a great deal of resilience.
